Rubber-sling: Use light weight surgical tubing from American Surgical Supply at 103 E. Highland Ave. in San Bernardino. $1.50/foot.
Leather boot: The Horse Connection at 1940 S. "E" St. (at corner of Hospitality) will often sell scraps of leather from their repair department for very little $. Less than one square foot should be needed per Den.
