Graduation is always a special time of year for every Pack. Each Scout moves on from his rank to the next rank. Tigers to Wolves, Wolves to Bears, Bears to Webelos, and our Webelos advance to become Webelos IIs... their final step before moving on to Boy Scouts.
In Pack 89 each boy moves a decorated totem up our totem pole to the next rank. We were lucky enough to have the Calvary Conference Center in Twin Peaks allow us to use their fire ring amphitheater for our Graduation again this year.
Some of the Scouts from Den 9 opened the event by leading us in the Pledge, Promise, and the Law... the foundations of everything we have learned over the past year. Mr. Craig emceed the event... his last time ever with his retirement from the Pack coming quickly.
And as has become a fun, if messy, tradition, we roasted marshmallows and made smores after the ceremony as the sun set.
